Executive Board
Executive Director
Emma Burton (she/they) is a senior studying CLEG and Anthropology. She has acted and directed with the Rudes since she was a freshman and she’s excited to be the Executive Director for this season. Ask her about sharks, planning your schedule, and King Lear!
Managing Director
Maddy Cooper (she/her) is a sophomore majoring in Theatre Performance. She has acted in three Rudes productions and is thrilled to be Managing Director for this upcoming year. Ask her about historical dress, hand sewing, or the acting career of Dame Harriet Walter!
Artistic Director
Abigail Chase (she/her) is so excited to be the Artistic Director of AU Rudes for the 2023-24 season! She has worked with Rudes as an actor, dramaturg, and director, and previously served as the managing director of the troupe. At AU, she majors in Terrorism/Security Studies and minors in Psychology. She is also a founding member of Spectre Theatre Company, a classical theatre collective based in the DMV.
Financial Director
Morgan Kullen (they/she) is the Financial Director of the Rude Mechanicals. They are in their second year, majoring in Theatre Performance. Ask them about queer horror podcasts, Crier’s War, and the many D&D characters that they have created and will never play.
Outreach Director
India Siecke (she/her) is a sophomore majoring in history and political science. She has acted in several Rudes shows and served as Deputy to the Executive. Ask her about the misunderstood American president Jimmy Carter, the groundbreaking restaurant CAVA and Coriolanus.Â
Technical Director
Nathan Dipinto (He/Him)Â is a senior SIS major and the technical director of the Rude Mechanicals. Ask him about how he can pop his ears on command!
PR Director
Finn Fairfield (they/them)Â is a sophomore Musical Theater major with a minor in Graphic Design. They've been involved in two Rudes productions, and are absolutely hyped to be PR Director. Ask them about Heartstopper, 2007 hit film Alvin and the Chipmunks, or which glee cast character was actually the protagonist.Â
